Hotel Bramante has been carefully transformed from an historic monastic site into an elegant country hotel.The original convent, Santa Margherita, founded in the XII th century became a monastery in 1204 with an edict issued by Pope Paul IV.Located in the heart of Umbria along the green slopes of Todi, the Hotel is near the Reneissance Temple of Santa Maria of the Consolazione designed by the famous architect Donato Bramante. Who intend to explore the many wonderful venues of Umbria, including Perugia, Assisi, Spoleto and Orvieto, will find Hotel Bramante the ideal central location.Hotel Bramante has conserved the original fundamental structure of the convent. By Plane: If you are travelling by plane, the nearest airport is the Regional Umbrian Sant’Egidio airport (30 Km) in Perugia. From the airport we can organise a shuttle service at extra charge. The nearset international airports are: the Amerigo Vespucci airport, in Peretola, in province of Florence (190 km), the international Leonardo da Vinci Airport (165 km) in Fiumicino (Rome) and Galileo Galilei internation airport of Pisa (280 km).By Train: By train from the North you can travel on the Firenze-Terontola-Perugia line, stopping at Ponte San Giovanni station and then reach Todi by the Ferrovia Centrale Umbra trains. Otherwise, if you are coming by train from the South, you can use the railway line Roma-Orte-Terni, then from Terni you can reach Todi by the Ferrovia Centrale Umbra trains. From the station of Todi you can take a taxi to reach the hotel.By Car: If you are travelling by car from the North, you can reach Todi driving on the Sole motorway Firenze-Roma, then you have to leave it in Valdichiana and proceed driving in direction to Todi following the E45 direction Terni and leaving the E45 in Todi S. Damiano. If you are coming from the South, drive along the Sole motorway Roma-Firenze, leave it in Orte and drive on to Terni-Perugia-Cesena along the E45, then leave it in Todi. Once in Todi follow the Ss448 Orvietana where the hotel is located at number 48 and all the hotels' signs.
