Club Viva Fortuna is a 276-room all-inclusive resort with a wide stretch of white beach, about 25 minutes from the Freeport airport, and 4 miles from Lucaya village. All-inclusive means everything, with a few exceptions, is included -- room, meals, snacks, open bars for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, non-motorized water sports, activities, entertainment, and tips. The pool is practically built on the beach and there are numerous spots for sunning, and enough palapas for everyone to catch some shade when needed. The resort strives to capture the essence of the Caribbean. An international staff and presents varied program of daily activities including beach games, water aerobics, dance classes, bingo, daily tournaments with prizes, aerobics, stretching, piano bar, disco, theme parties, bike tour and drink time. Sporting options include kayaking, wind-surfing, sailing, snorkeling, introduction to scuba diving, water polo, water aerobics, tennis (day and night), archery, a fitness center with trainer, aerobics, bicycles, stretching, volleyball, French boules and football (group lessons included). Optional sports for an extra fee are scuba diving (PADI and SSI certification courses), fishing, golf, horse riding, banana boat and water skiing and land and sea excursions. For your included meals there are two restaurants: the main restaurant which is international buffet style open for breakfast, lunch and dinner; and the Pizza and Pasta restaurant which is a la carte, open for dinner with a reservation. Facilities include an oceanfront swimming pool; Jacuzzi; discotheque; theatre; two tennis courts; gymnasium; sauna; shops; money exchange; car rental; free parking; Kids Club; Baby Sitting (for an extra fee); and the Viva Diving Center (extra fee except intro course). All-inclusive package prices are based upon double occupancy (two people per room). There is a supplemental per person charge, for each ad.
